Lyceum and Lawn Tennis Club Collection, 1929-1986.

The collection contains material gathered by Lyceum members. It includes personal keepsakes of members and material related to the Lyceum collected or published in the United States after the Lyceum was closed in Cuba. It also includes programs of exhibitions, copies of statutes, calendars of activities, photographs of social gatherings and flower arrangements, yearbooks, and a felt banner made for the Lyceum in the 1950s. There is some material on Elena Mederos de González, the last president of the Lyceum, and correspondence of Dr. Rosa Abella who was responsible for initiating the gathering of this collection.
